GQ India, India's luxury and lifestyle magazine for men, had much to celebrate—it’s first anniversary and the launch of its Men Of The Year awards (in association with Chivas).

This year, 16 inspirational Indian men and two outstanding women were honoured. The awards saw winners—including Abhay Deol (Breakthrough Talent of the Year), Irrfan Khan (Outstanding Achievement of the Year), Shashi Tharoor (Inspiration of the Year), Karan Johar and Kareena Kapoor (Excellence of the Year), Katrina Kaif (Woman of the Year), Omar Abdullah (Young Leader of the Year), Amitabh Bachchan (Lifetime Achievement) and Saif Ali Khan (Chivas Ultimate GQ Man of the Year)—take to the stage. "What better way to celebrate GQ's first anniversary in India than with a tribute to the country's best and brightest men [and one very special woman] on the cover,” said Che Kurrien, editor of GQ India. “We raise a toast to the most accomplished Indian men and have created an issue that's historic both in its scope and scale.
