The tournament will be in two groups of four teams each. Zone A comprises of Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica, Leeward Islands and Canada while in Zone B is made up of Guyana, Barbados, Windward Islands and the Combined Campuses & Colleges.
The round-robin stage in each group is that each team will play three matches- with the top two teams in each group qualifying for the semi-finals. The winners of the semi-finals will advance to the final.
The matches in Barbados will be played from July 22nd to July 25th and the matches in Trinidad will be from July 28th to July 31st. The finals will be on August 01st.
On Thursday, July 22nd at the Kensington Oval , Trinidad & Tobago vs Canada and Jamaica vs Leeward Islands.
On Wednesday, July 28th at the Queen's Park Oval, Leeward Islands vs Canada and Trinidad & Tobago vs Jamaica.
Meanwhile, Cricket Canada announced last Tuesday a 14-man squad for the T/20 Tournament.
The full squad: Rizwan Cheema (Captain) Harvir Baidwan, Trevin Bastiampillai, Geoff Barnett, Umar Bhatti, Hemnarine Chattergoon, Khurran Chohan, Parth Desai, Tyson Gordon, Calvert Hooper, Usman Limbada, Hiral Patel, Zubin Sukari and Hamza Tariq.
Canada regular captain Ashish Bagai is out of the tour, as he is receiving attention for his knee.
Bagai was recently named in the team of the tournament for the recently completed World Cricket League Division 1 where he scored 284 runs in 6 innings.
